Air-engraving
The next case that I decided to start work on after completing the Sweclockers case was a plain black case. When I'm engraving, I prefer to use black cases - the contrast between the silver metal and black paint looks pretty sweet. This time I wanted to do more than just engraving, so I took out my airbrush to see if I could pull off a good combination.
I used a printout of my design as a template both for the engraving and the airbrushing. The template acted as a mask for the paint, stopping it from going into the areas that I wanted to engrave. I used smaller templates for the window and top details.

I've got my eye on you! The effect of the bright paint next to the engraving is pretty neat.
